We generally require working breed knowledge and/or experience for those wanting to adopt our more demanding breeds (GSD, Belgian Shepherd, Malinois, etc.). If applying for a working breed, please tell us about your breed knowledge.

Before we assign a volunteer to process your application, is EVERYONE in the household in agreement about adopting this pet? If not, PLEASE have that talk PRIOR to submitting this application.

List and describe all of the pets you've had in the past 10 years, both living and deceased (species, sex, indoor/outdoor, spay/neuter, etc).

Are you aware that routine maintenance and costs for a pet is an average of $1,000 annually?

We require a documented history of yearly vaccinations, flea and heartworm prevention to be considered for this pet. Are your current pets (or were your late pets) UTD on yearly vaccinations, heartworm and flea prevention? We WILL confirm this with your veterinarian and ask for a reference. This is non-negotiable.

Please provide the clinic name, address and phone number of your current or late pet's veterinarian so we can confirm this. If current/prior pets are listed above and this question is unanswered, your application will be considered incomplete and therefore voided.

While we absolutely DO read each submitted application, please understand that we will ONLY reach out to you if you are selected as a match for one of our rescue dogs. While we'd love nothing more than to respond to all applicants, we just do not have that kind of volunteer manpower here at our small but mighty rescue. Once your application is successfully submitted you will be redirected to our 'Adoption Process' page which will explain, in great detail, how we select our adopters.

Applicants must be over 21 years of age and not currently first-time students. Applications that are not fully completed, or untruthful, will be considered void. Current pets MUST be UTD on yearly vaccinations, heartworm and flea prevention and have a documented history saying as much in order to be considered.
